For photographers, there is a contest where you can submit your amazing pictures of these beautiful flowers with snowcapped mountains as the backdrop! Once the daffodils begin to fade, the tulips show their brilliant colors, and the fields are covered with spectacular scenes that transform you into another world.
The town of LaConner is a very quaint community nestled near the water. There are several restaurants and shops to explore right along the waterfront. 3. Tucson, Arizona
During the spring months is the best time to visit the desert! Of all the great places to visit in the desert, Tucson has so much to offer. Tucson is located in the Sonoran Desert which is also the only place in the world where the Saguaro Cacti grow. Along with looking at all of the cacti around the area, spring also brings in vibrant colors with a wide variety of flowers. It is best to take a hike and look for California and Mexican gold poppies, desert globemallow, owl's clover, desert bluebells, paper flowers, penstemon, desert marigold, Indian blanket, and so much more.
One great attraction where you can really experience all there is to offer in Tucson is the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Although it is called a museum, it is so much more and has the feel of a zoo. Most of the museum is outdoors and does require walking, so come prepared with lots of water and comfortable shoes.
There are so many options for camping in or near Tucson. One great place is Crazy Horse RV Campgrounds. They offer several discount options for RVers.
